Babysitter’s Training
7-hour course from Canada Safety Council
Group of youth learn the basics of becoming a successful babysitter
Course is for ages 12+

Job Readiness
You will gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence you need to succeed in the workplace!
Resume writing, Interview skills, Networking tips, Job Search and more.

Youth Engagement
BGC focuses on leadership, recreational, creative, and educational opportunities for youth.

SNAP® Program (Stop Now And Plan)

SNAP® is a cognitive-behavioural strategy that helps children to stop and think before they act AND make better choices “in the moment”. Delivered by BGC in local schools. Licensed affiliate of CDI (Child Development Institute).

Youth Leader Program
Volunteering as a Youth Leader is a win-win at BGC. Join the BGC Youth Leader Program for teens in Grades 9, 10,11. You’ll engage with peers and mentors to develop essential leadership skills while making a difference at BGC. By volunteering at BGC, teens gain valuable skills plus build confidence and resilience that will serve them for a lifetime. You’ll enhance your teamwork abilities, improve your communication skills, and forge meaningful relationships that last well beyond your time at the club! Teens in Grades 9, 10, 11 are the heart of our Youth Leader Program.
